community partners
We know how important it is to give back to our community.
That’s why Cody’s Appliance Repair partners with local non-profit organizations that provide vital services to the greater Boise area. Whether you are in need of their services or want to volunteer/donate, we hope that you will check them out and support them in any way you can.
Cody’s Appliance Repair is proud to support these vital nonprofit services that enrich our community. We hope that you will support them as well.

Meridian Valley Humane Society
The Meridian Valley Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care and treatment of abandoned dogs. They provide compassionate care and treatment with daily interaction/socialization, foster care, and veterinary care as well as a first-rate adoption program.
Cody’s Appliance Repair is proud of our ongoing partnership with MVHS Canine Rescue. “We collect all kinds of stuff: paper towels, scotch tape, dog food, etc., to support this no-kill shelter. We are 4-footed lovers!” says owner Patty Husk.

Women's and Children's Alliance
Cody’s Appliance Repair makes monthly donations to the Women’s and Children’s Alliance. The WCA provides services to women, men, and children recovering from domestic abuse or sexual assault. Started in 1910 as the Boise YWCA (Young Women’s Christian Association), the WCA has made the core of their mission to provide safe places for women to live. In 1996, they officially became the Women’s and Children’s Alliance, specializing in helping families and individuals healing from domestic abuse.
We’re proud to support this vital nonprofit organization through regular donations. If you would like to help, you can provide financial support, visit their boutique thrift store, or donate some of the items requested in their shelter, childcare, and facility wishlists.

Idaho Foodbank
Every November before Thanksgiving, Cody’s hosts an annual food drive for the Idaho Foodbank. Founded in 1984, the Idaho Foodbank is an independent, donor-supported, nonprofit organization and the largest free food distributor in Idaho. They’ve distributed more than 135 million pounds of food through a network of over 230 community-based partners including rescue missions, church pantries, emergency shelters, and community kitchens. They also operate a nutrition program to promote healthy eating habits.
If you are in need of food, view the Idaho foodbank listings for a location near you. If you want to volunteer, you can donate your time, money, food, or other services.
