The local Dry Creek Historical Society has been leading preservation efforts in the area since 2004, and they take special care of one of Hidden Springs’ enduring landmarks, the Schick-Ostolasa Farmstead. The Schick-Ostolasa Farmstead was one of the first productive farms in the area and stands today as one of Idaho’s oldest intact farmhouses. It remains a constant symbol of the drive shown by hard-working Idahoans in cultivating the land.

The vast landscape of Idaho hosts many exceptional locales, with Hidden Springs standing proud as a natural gem amongst them. Though small in census, it stands representative of the greater American spirit, where one only has to till the ground to make it prosperous. And, thanks in large part to a concerned and thoughtful citizenship, Hidden Springs is certain to remain a prosperous gem for generations to come.
